Superette Short Shorts

By Lefty Latino

How’s this for invasive advertising? Superette, an Auckland boutique chain, wanted to promote a short shorts sale. From ad agency DDB Auckland’s press note: “We put indented plates on bus stop, mall, and park benches, so that when people sat down, the message was imprinted on their thighs. This meant that as well as having [...] [read more...]

An Objection to Allocation of Citizenship By Accident of Birth

By Citizen Orange

I believe that a workable system of immigration controls could be created without those two policies. These and other consens [read more...]

By Elenamary

A month or so ago I went to the 60th birthday party of a good friend of mine.  She gave me a great piece of advice and said “Elena, remember the Mae West quote ‘You are only as young as the man you feel’ ” she tossed back her redhead and laughed but she was somewhat serious.  I like to think I have surrounded myself with a variety of people, and that they all help me feel [read more...]

Losing Latino voters

By Hispanics Against Republicans

Republicans are losing latino voters. They had a bit of a push but in states like California the obvious policies against 'illegal aliens' are continuing to disenfranchise prospective voters.
